SEDRIX 6.1.5: Evaluation using DIN 4150-2

by | 17. Jun 2026

The new version of SEDRIX makes carrying out evaluations according to DIN 4150-2 as easy as clicking your mouse – saving you hours at your desk.

The DIN 4150-2 norm places high demands on vibration evaluations: Measured values must be properly evaluated over time, threshold values must be placed correctly and documented according to the specifics of the project. Normally this means collating data from various measurement files, determining peak values, creating tables and carefully checking everything – a process that can quickly take several hours per measurement point, depending on the project.

SEDRIX does all of this completely automatically. The system uses the recorded KBFTi measurement data to directly generate a table that complies with DIN 4150-2, in which all relevant parameters are clearly presented. Instead of manually copying, calculating and formatting, you receive the results in minutes and can use them in evaluations or reports immediately.

Another important aspect is the susceptibility to errors: When manually compiling the necessary data, even accidentally switched digits, incorrect assignments, or overlooked peak values are enough to falsify the results. SEDRIX drastically reduces these risks by carrying out all steps – from transfering the data to creating the final table – automatically and reproducibly. So you don’t just save time, but you also increase the reliability and reproducibility of your evaluations using DIN 4150-2.

Version 6.1.5

13.11.2025

New features

  • Table for evaluations according to DIN 4150-2.

Changed functions

  • Seismic measurements: When evaluating seismic events according to DIN 4150-2, the Au threshold value is now used and not the Ao threshold value. Only if the value falls below the Au limit can it be safely concluded that the requirements of the norm were met for that time period; whereas a value below Ao does not necessarily mean that the requirements were met.
  • Seismic measurements: The Au/Ao threshold values are no longer offered as an option to display in the seismic statistics for events.
  • A horizontal scroll bar was added to the assignment view.

Fixed bugs

  • Seismic measurements: If an event table was meant to be displayed but the measuring point did not have any assigned events, an unintelligble error was shown.
  • Automatically reloading a page did not update the page completely.
